Personal Watercraft (PWC’s) or Jet Skis, as they are commonly known, are versatile, fun and an affordable way to get out on the water.

This taster experience gives you the opportunity to experience riding a ski either riding solo or sharing with a friend.

We will teach the basics of riding a personal watercraft in the shelter of the marina before heading out into the bay to enjoy a ride along the coastline giving plenty of opportunities to put into practise everything you have learnt.

Try before you buy. With an RYA instructor by your side we can answer all of your questions.

£145 for a solo rider. £35 extra for a passenger.

Restrictions

Whats the minimum age?

Suitable for over 18s only at the controls. Over 14 are welcome as a passenger.

What should I wear?

It’s a good idea to dress warm. We would encourage a wetsuit and we have some to borrow should you not have any. We will provide you with a buoyancy aid too.

If I enjoy it, is there other training I can do?

Absolutely. If you do look to buy your own ski we run an RYA PWC course which will equip you with all the required knowledge to head out on the water safety and confidently.

This trip is not suitable for:

Pregnant women
People with a history of back, neck or bone conditions or injuries
Those suffering conditions resulting in decreased bone strength
Anyone who is unable to effectively remount the ski from the water
Anyone who is unable to follow instructions
Anyone who is unable to swim

					  We did the Raptor speedboat withTorquay Watersports and it was incredible. 30 minutes of high speed thrills, in a custom power boat. We went down the coast and stopped occasionally... read more to look at the local wildlife and landmarks. But the best bit was the sheer speed and agility of the boat - a brilliant experience! We felt safe and looked after by the crew. Definitely worth doing!

					  The most fantastic morning on the swim safari. 

We were taken to the most beautiful spots to swim and were lucky enough to see a seal pop up near... read more us. Susie was amazing with my son and his confidence grew and he absolutely loved it. 

Very well organised, experienced and super friendly. The best trip we have been on and the best memories made.
