ONE HOUR RIB SEAFARI

Explore the coves and bays of The English Riviera in our 6.5m RIB with a skipper at the helm.
  • Brand new luxury spacious 6.5 Metre RIB
  • Whole party bookings – 2 or 4 people is the same price. Each additional person only £20 – total number of people 6.
  • The sea will always determine where we can explore, but in Torbay we are spoiled for choice and will always have the option of finding sheltered beautiful waters to explore.
  • Each trip will be dependent upon weather conditions. This could include a trip towards Paignton, Elberry Cove and Brixham, or a visit to the cruise ships in the bay, seal spotting at Thatcher Rock and the regular dolphin feeding area off Berry Head…..but there are no guarantees.
  • What we can deliver is towering beautiful limestone cliffs, mysterious sea caves and tranquil clear blue water……and the many cruise ships whilst they are still with us.

What is the minimum age?

A guide is age 5, but please feel free to get in touch if you have younger children you wish to take with you.

Is there a walk to the boat?

Customers should be aware that there is a short walk from the meeting point to the boat. There are also steps to walk down to board the RIB. These steps do become submerged in water at various tide times, so can be slippery – care must be taken at all times when descending and ascending these steps. The hand rail must be used at all times.

What if the weather is bad?

Every effort will be made to honour bookings. In the case of exceptionally severe weather or other adverse conditions we may at our absolute discretion have to re-arrange the trip.  The safety of passengers is our prime concern and decisions on safety remain the prerogative of the Skipper.

Will I get wet?

Our RIBs are stable and are very good sea boats and we do not deliberately set out to get you wet.  We are however on the water and there is occasional spray – you should dress accordingly.

What shall I wear?

The weather can change whilst we are out on the water so we always advise our customers to bring extra layers just in case. Wind chill on the water is always a factor.  Dress in readiness for temperatures a few degrees lower than on land. Lifejackets will be provided and are mandatory.

What to bring?

There is some storage space on the boat for personal bags.  Personal belongings are carried at the owners risk.

Can I take photos?

Yes ! We want to capture as much of your day as possible and share it with us on social media.  Your skipper will always advise you on when the best time to take photographs is…..as most cameras and phones do not float.

The weather in the English Riviera is mostly kind to us – but be prepared.

Wind chill on the water is always a factor…..especially at high speeds.

  • Layers are good – you can never have enough !
  • Hats and gloves are welcome if cold.
  • We are unable to provide waterproofs – come prepared.
  • Flat sensible shoes – no heels.
  • The RIB has jockey seats – avoid skirts and dresses.
  • We provide life jackets which are mandatory for all persons.

To mitigate risk to staff and customers we are ensuring the following:

  • Whole boat is booked per booking.
  • The boat will be disinfected bewteen trips and fully deep cleaned at the end of each day.
  • Masks must be worn during briefings and lifejacket fittings.  Masks are available to buy should you not have one.
  • Hand cleansing stations are located upon arrival and before boarding the RIB.
  • Lifejackets will be fully disinfected between trips.
  • All equipment fully disinfected again at the end of the day and left over night.
  • We will reduce our use of waterproofs so please ensure you come fully equipped for the weather conditions on the day.
